Sorry you seem to be experiencing these problems but can you tell us at what stage of the download it fails? Also, assuming you bought the program direct from Magix, and it is the latest version, VPX12, did you then receive a link to download a file with a name something like "videoprox 12_dlm.exe"?
If so, did you then run this file, which is the actual downloader, i.e. it downloads all the installation files and then runs them to complete the installation?
Is it at this point that the problem you are seeing occurs? If so, it could be a Magix server problem; these are often quite quickly resolved and when you try again, the program installs without further delay.
I am desperate, I have a good computer and a good internet connection and I need (form my work) to use the software, in fact I have several programs purchased from magix and none are downloaded with the assistant
I tried to download it from another computer and I was not successful either, it should be noted that I did it from the same internet connection which is 100Mbps
I'm just checking you got the correct downloader. It appears you have got the correct one.
On one of the links you provided that showed the same problem, one person tried downloading the software from another computer and it worked so it seems it is either a software setting in your system or a hardware difference.
Have you tried a different computer? Would it be possible to try?
I know it's not ideal but as we are not experiencing that problem we can't replicate your problem.
I'm sorry not to be able to help much further but no-one here is a Magix employee or have access to them any more than you do.
