@johnebaker
Yes I know.
What I meant was mixing to wmv gives me a good copy to play on computer and burning that to DVD avoids all the errors or it does in my case.
It gives me a better quality result to give to the client if they want.

I do the same but to mp4, but still get the same error messages as my previous post.

Hi

@DugsBugs

Thanks for the clarification - it was not clear to me exactly why you were exporting to WMV.

Is there any reason why you chose WMV over MP4?

WMV is a Microsoft derivation of mp4, however it is restricted to being playable on Windows machines and some players that support the wmv format.

@johnebaker
I do both at times
MP4 seems to create a bigger file size and there is not that much difference in quality.
If my client is using Apple, then I give them MP4.
WMV seems to be more stable when converting to DVD for some reason so I have stuck with that format.

Hi

Thanks Doug - makes sense in view of the burn issue.

Cheers

@johnebaker
So far, I don't seem to be having the same issues with the 195 update but at least I have a backup plan if I do.
