Hi

Try the following in order as listed until the issue is fixed:-

  1. Restart the computer - Windows button, Power button, Restart then start MMS 2025
  2. Press F9 to reset the program layout.
  3. Select Window, Window arrangement, Standard
  4. Reset the program, File, Settings, Reset program settings to default
  5. Close MMS 2025, using File Explorer locate the videodeluxe.ini file, it should be in the folder

    C:\Users\your username\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Videodeluxe31_version

    Delete the videodeluxe.ini file, restart MMS 2025.

Hi

The issue is very odd and something we have not come across before in the forum.

I think you may need a Support ticket raising, however the weekend is coming up so you may not get a response until Monday/Tuesday at the earliest.

In the meantime, we need more information to help diagnose the issue :

The specification of your computer system including Windows version and program version, see this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full, and also what monitor/screen resolution(s) you are working with if this is a laptop.

I would suggest you put this information in your profile signature so we do not have to keep asking for it.

Are the graphics drivers up to date?

. . . . continually flashes between the storyboard and the timeline mode . . . .

Does this occur immediately after starting the program, or later?

If later, what actions ocurred immediately before the alternating was triggered?
