So, i've done this here: Error: "Corrupted data" or error code"2147163964" (magix.info)

Still no luck! Help! Looks like installer is corrupt, I'm an IT Pro during the day never ran into any issues before with reinstall on clean OS. Doesnt seem to download the 64 bit version, will try 32bit now. i use this daily for radio production/mixes mastering. just noticed the installer is a newer version then the last one i used which i cant find.

@Greg2Hype I think the C++ Redistributables on your computer are not correctly installed or missing. Try uninstalling them, reboot your computer, then reinstall them. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-US/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170

@Greg2Hype Have you installed the 64 bit and 32 bit redistributables? I'm not sure where Sound Forge usually installs its files because I always install all programs to a custom folder (under C:\Users\MyWindowsUsername\ to prevent file access problems) , but your screenshot shows that a 64 bit DLL cannot be registered. But why is this DLL placed in the 32 bit Program.Files folder?

Just the 64 bit is what I'm trying to install. that's odd I see what your saying there.

@Greg2Hype I meant if you installed the 32 bit and 64 bit Redistributables, not Sound Forge 32 bit and 64 bit. Be also sure to install the different versions, not only the newest version.

Try also installing the 2008 C++ redistributables form the same soucre as @SP. linked to - scroll further down the page, this is known to fix issues with dll's failing to register as in the error message.
