Thanks for your response, I have installed to 2 files you linked me to but unfortunately it has not worked. I an still getting the same error messages when I boot up my laptop
Yes rebooted several times but no luck. I don't know what the program is so I don't know how to check if windows firewall or AVG anti virus is blocking anything.
Once I cancel the 2 error messages everything seems to work fine. Its just annoying every time I start my laptop
From the error messages you show I'm guessing that, when you installed MEP 2021 you did NOT uncheck the setting to install the optional Simplitec Power Suite. It is clearly the source of the error message.
If you did not specifically want this program I think you may be able to uninstall it via Windows Settings>Apps>Apps & Features. Find the program, left-click on its name and you should see an option to Uninstall.
OTOH, if youdid deliberately want the app, I think it would appear that it needs to contact a dedicated server and check that everything is fully operational. If so, as already stated by @johnebaker, you need to give it permission in your firewall and or AV to make this connection.
Speaking personally, I never allow this type of optional program to install.
I think you are right, I don't remember unchecking any addon software. I have checked apps and features and cannot find any reference to Simplitec. The only thing I can find is Update Notifier. Should I uninstall update notifier or does Magix movie pro 2021 need it?
Update Notifier can be uninstalled if you do not use it, it was known by several names Magix Connect, Connect and Network Sync.
I have never installed Simplitec and have no registry entries for it - therefore I would say the decision is yours, however do backup the registry before doing so.
Check you Start-up programs list to see if there is a service for Simplitec.
