I don't know of any virus that could do that to stored videos but I would check your storage drive for read write faults as it could be signs of a failing drive. If it is an external drive check the connecting lead and wiggle the connectors to make sure of a solid connection. Last but not least, check you have the correct graphics driver for your GPU.

I think you're right, all of those videos was transferred from an old laptop to a hard drive, then on PC, and I am afraid that it's a problem of badly written...
