Importing mov files does not add the audio component

When I import mov files into Movie Edit Pro Premium there is no audio although this plays perfectly well in other programs. I notice that mov files are only listed as importable. Is this causing the problem.

That may be the original problem. I'm not too worried though. If more up to date mov files work I can cope with sorting the older files in other ways.
