Hey guys,

I have problem with my Magix video pro. It used to work well but now I could not see the preview video. I could not see any image actually. The program was working but I could not use because of missing images. So I tried to unistall the programe I downloaded the installation file, but when I execute it nothing happens. I don´t know what to do can anyone help ?

@Ivo-Zboril

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

First, can you confirm exactly which Magix program you have, along with its variant (if applicable) and version number, found under Help>About. You have posted to the Movie Edit Pro section of the forum but talk about "Magix video pro", a program which does not exist!

Please read this post and give us ALL the information requested there. it really does help us to help you!

By trying to uninstall the program, quite unwittingly, you possible made the problem worse! The fact that nothing happens when you attempt to reinstall strongly suggests that your attempt to uninstall was actually not successful!

Please read this tutorial for full details of how a total uninstall must be done if the reinstall is to succeed! It was written to assist users experiencing problems when upgrading to Windows 10 but the uninstallation process is exactly the same whether or not you have recently upgraded to Win 10.

@psalmista2008

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

Did you read my reply to @Ivo-Zboril, the post directly above yours? The advice and questions there also apply to you, assuming your problem is identical to what the OP is experiencing.

If your problem is in any way different, please start a new thread but ensure you include ALL the information requested in my earlier post.

Thank you.

@Ivo-Zboril, @psalmista2008

Hi

We are getting many reports of this type of issue with the Preview not showing an image ie is black.

If you have an older NVidia or AMD graphics card installed ie pre Geforce GTX 1050 or AMD Radeon RX470 the issue may be the card is not supported and the Hardware acceleration for playback option in the Program settings, Import/export tab. option is on.

If you have an older graphics card try turning the above setting off.
