Every video I can find shows the software opening to the edit view. Mine does not and I can't find how to take it out of the mode it is in. I can see the menus on the right but on the left, there is no work area to drag the clips to. It is all screen and no edit area.
Hey, CB, it is Magix Movie Edit Premium. I have figured out how to kind of make it work by dragging the corners in and rearranging but it still does not function like in the videos, such as working in a proper storyboard way with multiple tracks. I have been looking at the videos and so far none has addressed this.

Storyboard only has one track, for multiple tracks you need to be working in Timeline mode - click the indicated icon below
I would advise you to read the installed PDF manual available under Help in the program, and watch these tutorials
