LOSS OF OF PLAY BACK BAR.

Steve-Smith wrote on 4/17/2026, 5:24 AM

Can anyone advise please. There are two items:

  • How to recover the playback bar during when creating the video. When I open the video, there is no progress/play button.
  • How to unlock the audio track and the video track. They are both joined together, I want to move them about separately.

Thank you kindly,

Steve.

I am using Magix Movie Studio 2024. I have recently changed to a new computer with Windows 11. But now using the Magix to create a video appears to slightly different.

The play bar has disappeared when I open the video. I need to do more edits, but I can't at present.

The tracks are locked in together, so I can't separate them.

Best

Hi Steve

We need more information:-

The specification of your computer system, see this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full, and also what monitor/screen resolution(s) you are working with if this is a laptop.

I would suggest you put this information in your profile signature so we do not have to keep asking for it.

Are you getting any error messages, if so then please quote them in full or provide screen shots.

Are the graphics card/integrated GPU drivers up to date?

A screenshot of the program interface with a project loaded, blur the preview icons on the videos if there are people clearly seen, showing what you see, keep this at the screen resolution.

A screenshot of the Program settings, Device options tab  would help.
