I understood that already Magix Pro X 12 included Mercall 5? I could only access it in Pro X 12 in the locked condition. Have now upgraded to Pro X 13 - still cannot access Mercalli??????????????? Pls explain how I can do this?
Did you receive an activation code for Mercalli v5 in the email confirming your order and product serial number - you may need to scroll down the email to see it ?

Magix is the company, not the name of the product which is Video Pro X12.

Following was received from Magix (Feb 2020):

Mercalli elements showed up in the X12 software - but if used - always overprinted with Mercallli logo. Similarly now with X1
Magix advertising at the time I got X12 was that Mercalli was included. It seems that this may have been just an advertising "come-on" to introduce users of X12 to Mercalli - on the assumption that they would need to purchase if of interest. That is expensive at US$300.
Bit of trickery here?
Mercalli is apparently a separate company from Magix and (for some strange reason) only offers 12 month support - so time is now of the essence.
I don't know all the ins and outs of how you first purchased your copy of VPX but the initial email that Magix gives out with any purchase that contains your program download and any third party software codes warns that all third party activation links are only valid and active for 90 days.
If you had done that upon purchase within the allotted time then any subsequent reinstall of the program would have allowed the activation codes to work.
If you never received that email then you need to contact Magix again.
AS suggested, I contacted Magix referring to the original Ticket issued to me last year. Magix responded that the old Ticket is closed. Like many others, I cannot find my way through the procedure now required to get a new Ticket. Many others have found the same. All roads lead to this Forum - which is not staffed by Magix but by volunteers. The Forum is helpful, but I have just about had it with Magix so-called "service".
