Movie Edit Pro Plus 19.0.2.58 program frozen

I have Movie Edit Pro Plus version 19.0.2.58. My screen is frozen. I can't click to start any function. I can only close the program with task manager. It froze for a few seconds on several occasions in the last few days and then started working. After it froze today, I restarted the computer and updated Windows 10. The video program had asked me to update, so I did that today. Immediately after the update, the program became completely unresponsive. I tried creating a new project to see if only this project was affected and I can't click into the box to name the project. I can't access the manual or help section.

I reinstalled the program and the problem is fixed.

@beth-hall

The Same thing has happened to me today. I ran a Checkdisk and apparently on my system at least, it was Vasco de Gamma corrupted at the same time as the Windows update occurred. I had to re-install MEP as well but I have not bothered re installing Vasco de Gamma.

Thanks. That's good to know. I ran System Mechanic to see if it would help, but it didn't. I'm just glad I didn't have to buy new software.
