Can anyone still help or should I give up on MEP. Clearly there is preview misrepresentation problem with the software. What you see is not what you'll get.
I now see Magix has launched MEP 2014, but as much as I've enjoyed this software, I'm reluctant to purchase again if I have the same problem.

Did you try the suggestion I made two weeks ago?

Hi Terry
Thanks for the reponse.
No I have not tried ceating a mini project. At this time, as a step 1, I've followed JohnBaker's instruction to use the G-Spot or Mediainfo analyser to show the data. I was hoping that would help before I move to the project scenario. ( I have uploaded the screenshots of the 2 raw file formats ).
If these images prove un-usefull, I do the dropbox project option, as per your advice. ( I'm not sure how I would go about sharing the dropbox folder though )
The mini-project backup would be the best approach. Create it and see how large it is and then we can discuss how best to access it. I assume you've googled 'dropbox'? Have you set up a free account?
Meanwhile, eliminate the burn process as a cause. Burn the DVD folder created by MEP (located as shown in the Folder tab of Program Settings) with an alternative prrogram, such as ImgBurn. I expect that will still show the sync issue, but this is an easy step just to make sure.

Hi Terry
Thanks I do have dropbox, and will follow your steps.I'll need and email address to share it, or I can make it public, I'm not all that keen to share the content publicly, but will if no other option. What do you suggest ?

First
1. Rule out the burn process
2. Develop the shortest possible project exhibiting the sync problem
3. Create the backup zip as explained earlier using File > Backup > Copy project and media
4. Check that it works OK (exhibits the problem) by decompressing the zip and running the project from the MVP.
5. Upload the zip to Dropbox > Public and check that it's still OK
It would be much better if you could then share its URL openly here to maximise the opportunity for others to try it. Can you not use insensitive source files in your project? Or does the problem not arise with anything but the original files? (If the latter then have you exhausted other avenues, including conversion, or importing with different project setting, etc?)
Otherwise, you can send me the URL privately by magix.info PM, although I will then be handicapped in discussing it with others.
