Please start a new thread with your question, giving us full details about your computer (this post will show you the sort of detail we need) along with the exact name and version number of the software you have.

To prevent this thread becoming more "diffuse" I will close it.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Please do not hijack another users topic with a question that is not related to the issue the OP was having.

Create a new topic and give more information on the following:

  1. Your computer specification - see this topic for details of what is required and please quote the processor and graphics card/chipset make/model in full.
     
  2. Program full name and version number as found under Help, About
     
  3. More information on when the freeze occurs and what you did just before the freeze.
     
  4. If the freeze occurs when adding video to the timeline then a MediaInfo analysis of a video clip that causes the issue would help - see this tutorial for how to set up MediaInfo and analyse a video clip.

This topic will be closed as the OP's issue is resolved.
