@Ahmed-Ahmed

Hi and welcome to the forum.

This is a known issue and Magix are aware - see the bug list, item 1 here.

It is not known if a fix for this feature is to be released.

If this feature is necessary for you and you have an earlier version of Music Maker then you may need to revert back to the older version. If it need re-installing it will co-exist with 2021 though you do need to change the folder name where it will be installed and you should be able to download if from your account at magix.com - click the My Account icon to log in

This is ridiculous, even if MMM is supposed to be a "free" software you still have to pay to use its specific premium 2021 features and this (new) annoying lack of possibility to load AVI, WMV or MXV video files should have been on their list to fix asap!!! - since Magix never responds when I mention this on social medias its probably embarrassing for them...going to create a new support ticket for this - again - sigh---...

@Pernas

Hi

. . . . This is ridiculous, even if MMM is supposed to be a "free" software you still have to pay to use its specific premium 2021 features . . . .

The program is free - however like many free versions of software the features are limited.

Soundpools, instruments and advanced features cost time and money to develop and implement, if you want the more advanced features they naturally have to be paid for - the free version is your 'starter kit'.

The expectation of a fully featured program, ie with advanced features, for nothing is unrealistic.

Apologies for not being totally clear here, what I meant is that I'm a paying customer and when features breaks in newer releases which worked in the application before and it takes this long to get them back - if ever - then someone must react! The possibility to add local videos from within the file manager is one of those regressions which shouldn't be a problem if someone really wants to fix them..
