Hi and welcome to the forum

We need more information - in particular you computer specification and program version number as found under Help About see this topic for more details of what is required.

The faulting module would suggest there are jpg images in the project and one or more of them may be causing an issue are the images from a digital camera or other device?

A screen shot of the timeline would also help.

Hi S-P.

Nice system specs.

Was the previous version installed on your current system before you upgraded the program?

I'm wondering if you managed a completely clean install of the new version as your system is more than capable.

Reinstalled Windows (Windows 10PRO 64-bit). I put MEP on a clean system, everything works, but MEP suggests updating. After the first update, this error appears. With subsequent updates, it does not disappear. If I uninstall the MEP, then reinstall the older version 16.0.1.22 (UPD3) - everything works. Until I install the update.

Hi.

Have you all Windows updates installed including the Net.framework?

Please answer all the questions - you have told us which version of MEP you had, MEP 2017, however not the version you are updating to - and is causing the issue - without this we would be guessing.

Excuse me. The version to which the application was updated after two updates - 16.0.4.124 (UPD3) This version after downloading two updates, but stops working after the first update. Now I can not see what version the first update raises.

Hi

Thanks for the info - between 16.0.4.22 and 16.0.4.124 there were at least 3 updates .98, .102 and .119.

IIRC the .124 update only added a new 'feature' called Magix Connect.

We are missing the info on what is on the timeline and a screenshot?

Additionally - is there a reason for wanting to combine the video and audio, this is not a very often used feature and does the program crash if you do a MP4 export of the project?

After installing the program (16.0.1.22) everything works fine. The first update that installs the application is 16.0.4.119 (UDP3) and this is where my problem arises.
