Hi everyone,
I recently purchased Movie Edit Pro Premium and have been learning to use it. One thing I can't understand is the way track priorities work in the the object that's on lower tracks actually occlude those objects above contrary to the way other video editors work such as Vegas Movie Studio which I also bought. Is there a way to reverse this order so that objects on higher tracks have priority over those on lower tracks? Is this behaviour an advantage over other designs?
I wasn't able to find this information in the PDF manual and I checked out a couple of excellent basic editing tutorials on YouTube but they didn't specifically mention changing this behaviour.
Also, is there really a practical reason for having dozens of available tracks?
I haven't done any real video editing since the late 90's and early 2000's having used things like the Iomega Buz and Edius and I wasn't that involved at the time so I'm really trying to get back up to speed with some of these fundamentals.
Any help is appreciated.
