proDAD Hide V1 & proDAD Mercalli V5 Suite not taking serial number.

Team -

I recently upgraded my Magix Movie Edit Pro Premium from 2016 to 2021/2022 and with the upgrade came a few coupons for Filters and Plugins. After downloading these filters and plugins and installing them using the activation code (SN), it seems that they are not working. Every time I tried using any of them I get a big red X and the words FX.

These are the plugins/filters I have installed that came wit the upgrade:

NewBlue Filters 5 Ultimate

proDAD Mercalli V5 Suite

proDAD Hide V1

Each one came with its own SN which generates an error when activating.

Please help.

Hi Andy and welcome to the user to user forums.

There are no magix staff here to help,.only fellow users.

I take it you read the how to install third party plugins that would have come with your receipt emails from Magix.

You have to create an account at each effect suppliers website and register the product there first. You should then find you can load your product keys. Do keep a record of your login details for each website somewhere safe in case of a computer malfunction or later computer upgrade or you may loose entitlement to them later. I have printed copies of all my login details and activation codes although if not deleted and you don't change service provider your emails should be backed up on their servers.

This is all assuming you are running either Win 8.1 or Win 10.

I just found this guide for Hide. And this one for proDAD Mercalli V5 Suite which also covers New Blue Filters 5 Ultimate.

All plugins now seem to have a guide in the support section above.
