Catalina does not support 32 bit programs.

If you got the program running then this is a mystery as:

If you upgraded to Catalina with Sound Forge already installed on a previous MAC OS and Sound Forge then you would get a warning the program needs to be updated - the dialog looks similar to this

If not and Sound Forge was installed directly on to Catalina - how did you manage to do this ? The installer should not have run and the software should not run.

Unless - are actually running Sound Forge on Parallels or other VMware with an older MAC OS?
