When opening Movie Edit Pro there always comes the window "Software update". In my version Premium 2022 21.01.85 latest version is there 21.01.111. Choosing "Update now" continues to downloading update (45 MB). Then "Your update can now be installed" and "Install now" -button leads to "Installation error".
Same thing with my previous version Movie Edit Pro Plus 2021.

Which Antivirus program is installed on the computer?
The amount of free space on the hard drive(s) you have.

Hope these screenshots are readable. I do have new graphics card next week, but I guess this problem is not because of it. My antivirus program is Bitdefender Antivirus plus . There is 312 Gb free space at my SSD.

If so can you tell us the make and model of ram you are using please and if you have 0ne 16GB module or 2 x 8GB sticks.

They changed almost everything inside my old HP at a local company. It is really fast and I am satisfied. Anyway there is 2 slots of 8 Gb 1330 MHz DRAM dual channels. I cannot see the make without opening. In fact antivirus program is one possibility for the problem?

Correct - several AV programs are known to cause some issues, try temporarily disabling BitDefender for the install/update.

Disabling Bitdefender did not help.
I was wondering why the ram speed was so low as the CPU can handle almost double that so assumed it may be a single stick of memory.
Looking at the motherboard ram compatibility page, none of those ram sticks present run that slow.

Ok. I shall open my pc in order to check what really is inside. Speccy really shows 1330 MHz and there are 4 slots and 2 of them used. Then I go to ask the dealer.

Good idea because when I looked for ram based on the the figures you supplied I could only find ram that was meant for Ryzen CPUs based on the timings. That may be just me and my internet search, so I could be wrong.

The RAM is running at close to its rated speed of 2666 MHz - the issue is with Speccy - see this topic - you will find many more on the same subject.
