I have been unable to activate my Sound FOrge Pro MAC 3.0 online
Please help!

If you are running Catalina or Big Sur on the MAC then see this topic.
If not we need more information - eg any error messages ?

I am running 10.8.5 on my Mac tower. When I try to activate, your web activation asks for a machine ID and won’t accept anything I try to put in that space. I’ve tried my tower’s serial number and it’s MACaddress.

That is the MAC OS designated Mountain Lion - Sound Forge Pro 3 is not compatible with this OS - it needs one of the following MAC OS's:
10.9 (Mavericks), 10.10 (Yosemite), 0.11 (El Capitan), 10.12 (Sierra), 10.13 (High Sierra), 10.14 (Mojave)
Catalina and later OS's are not supported.

I have Mac OS 10.10.5 running on this Mac as well...I put my machine I.D. and serial number in to get an activation code, but it just says wrong computer ID

I paid good money for this software and I want to use it, but can't get it activated!!

Assuming the MAC version activation process is the same as for other Magix programs activation should be done online.
The only time a computer id is needed is if you are trying to register the software prior to installation or offline. The id required is generated when using the Activate off line/by email option - did you use this option?

After doing the installation, when I launch the software it demands I activate it, and fails every time!
