Unwanted sound interference during video dissolves

JDW wrote on 12/22/2021, 12:31 PM

I just installed Magix Movie Edit Pro 2022 including the latest updates. I have a new PC with Windows 11 and top of the line hardware. When I dissolve between two regular MP4 video clips I hear a crackle and pop sound in the audio track... what is going on and how can it be eliminated?

@JDW

Hi and welcpme to the forum.

We need more information:

Computer specification and program version, see this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full - I would suggest you put this information in your profile signature so we do not have to keep asking for it.

Are the source video clips from a GoPro camera?

If so there is a known issue with audio DC offset that can occur, particularly when using an external microphone attached to the GoPro or, in the case of certain models, an actual fault in the camera.

You can also try increasing the Audio buffer sizes up one click in the Program Settings, Playback tab
