Version 16.0.2.306

gmlotkow wrote on 12/19/2018, 3:39 PM

Seems like the latest. Went to render with .304 and it aborted with an error. Then I see a new update to .306. Keeping my fingers crossed, anyone else?

Nothing in the release notes to suggest any improvements."For me at least"

Hi

A translation of @Sasiuk's post in the French Forum after running the patch:-

Well I do not know what really changed but after this update, some of my dysfunctions are still not corrected.

1.- Multicam mode, the alignment of the audio between objects still does not work and this since the first version of VPX10 published in June is the version 16.0.1.236. Since then there have been 8 patch patches published in 6 months ...

2.- The horizon correction function always generates an image blur as soon as you assign the smallest possible correction.

3.- Titles. It is still impossible to assign a defined color to any part of a given title text or font or character size. To work around the problem it is necessary to go back through the title editor and then modify each parameter: Loss of time ensured!

4.- 3D titles. On the same track of the timeline, if you insert 2 models of 3D titles, the selected presets are not taken into account. Each 3D Maker title opens, then it must be closed. This has the effect of canceling the selected preset. Sometimes when closing 3D Maker, Video Pro 10 crashes lamentably.

5.- Center Media Pool Scroll Bar. It is still not possible to move the center scroll bar horizontally in the media pool while in the Effect tab while it works perfectly in the Templates and Audio tabs. For the latter he remains desperately empty of content. For example, the collection of Free Songs is not accessible.

6.- Templates tab -> Image objects, the icons of the Test Images and Background collections are still not customized. Convenient for a selection ...

And this is only what I could identify from my side about the functions that I have to use.

To be continued...

DéDé.

When will it end.....!

Peter

Maybe the developers should look at my prior history of issues, especially the dates. It always seem to be this time of year, do an update, sets you back years it seems. Titles seem to tear, fix horizontal, and rotate/zoom are still unacceptable.DVD templates/fonts still unfriendly.

@Scenestealer

As I pointed out in another thread, most of the 6 points mentioned by Dédé are the same as what is on my list.

However, his point 4 was user error, or at least in my opinion. He posted a video of what he was doing and in each case, he turned off the animation in 3D Maker 7, then exited. Thus what comes up on the timeline is a static title. The animation has to be running when exiting back to VPX.

@gmlotkow

It seems that the only way to get these things fixed is to submit a detailed list in a ticket, with images and videos as backup... and then keep pushing.
