Does anybody know whether or not it’s possible to adjust the overall colour temperature of your video in Movie Edit Pro (any versions). So for example, if you wanted to change the colour temperature to 6500K, is there a way to do this?
Was not getting any popup. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Had to do a few dance moves to install msi as administrator. The install popped up Hitfilm's activation dialog. Seems to work now. Thanks.
. . . . Would you recommend 2019 Premium over Plus? If so, why? . . .
Plus is the minimum you should get, however I would recommend you check out the comparison chart here - the final decision is yours.
The main difference between Plus and Premium is the 3 extra Plugins available ie
MotionStudios Vasco da Gama 11 Essential
proDAD VitaScene V3 LE
HitFilm Ignite Color: Cine (MAGIX edition)
The second recommendation I would make is to be careful selecting which add-ons you require - when you enter the Store there should be a set of 'already paid for' addons to download, then look at what extras you may use occasionally.
I don't see HitFilm Movie Essentials Pack being offered with anything right now. I purchased it through the Store when there was a sale. It all depends on what is being offered when you upgrade (renew) or purchase.

I have read that Movie Edit Pro 2018 Premium has the option to allow you to adjust video colour temperature, however, does Movie Edit Pro 2019 have this as well?
Is it possible there is a hard copy via say Amazon or a computer store that may have it? Or would it prompt to update to the latest version on install?
Mine does because my copy is an update from my 2018 package.
If I had bought it when the 2019 version came out then I wouldn't have.
If you buy MEP or whatever version you get whatever effects are shown in the promotion and then free updates to the main editing program for one year but not the included bundled third-party effects packages, for which you would have to choose to purchase an upgrade. Then I assume, but don't know, (I have yet to purchase an upgrade) that you would get the new third-party effects as well. Whether these replace existing effects of the old package or are added to the ones from the previous package I couldn't say as I personally haven't done this yet.
I think this is something Apollo didn't understand when he complained about the purchase structure of Magix products. That in part, you are mainly paying for the bundled third-party effects offered.

Okay, so does that mean, to ensure I get the colour temperature effect, I would need to go on to Amazon or someplace and order the 2018 version?
After looking around for a hard copy, the answer is, apparently not.
The hard copy boxes just state 'With included latest effects'. Which seems to indicate that although the Basic program is on the supplied disk, that the effects are only available as a download once the program is activated and will only install the current effects on offer and not what was originally offered with the 2018 version of MEP.
I even looked at the New Blue website and that pack must be made specifically for Magix or is no longer available for sale.
