Does this happen on all file types or just MP3s for instance. If it happens on all file formats (PCM, MP3, AAC, ect.), this sounds like (no pun), the Magix Low Latency 2016 driver issue.. removing the Low Latency driver usually fixes it. However you may first want to try updating Sound Forge to the latest build. And/or resetting SF to the factory default settings. In the 'File' menu,. select "Reset all preferences and cached data".. and restart SF.

If nether resolve the issue, remove the Magix Low Latency driver, see this comment from Magix .

FWIW, Sound Forge Pro does not install the Low Latency 2016 driver.

btw, welcome to the Magix Sound Forge users community @Jonathan-Lloyd2719.

Not on your specific PC @Jonathan-Lloyd2719 .

Have you tried other WAVE files, and MP3s.

The Low Latency 2016 driver issue happens right after a new install, but I recall it was more prevalent with Audio Studio 15.. Regardless, try resetting SF first to see if that resolves the issue.

Otherwise, try emailing Magix at: infoservice@magix.net .. or request a Support ticket .
