  @rickduley Hi Rick, Thanks for the images; everything appears "normal" there! And for listing the type of disc. But are they DVD+R or DVD-R? In my experience, for single-layer -R are "better", i.e. produce fewer failures. What about the other

  @emmrecs   Hi Jeff I have tried both -R and +R in both single and dual layer.I have not used re-writable for DVDs having had bad experienced with them just filing data. Anyway, I don't think anyone in the remote wilds of Perth would have DVD-DL

  Does this ring true to you fellas?Have we been barking up the wrong tree? Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation sold Verbatim to CMC in 2020. Even prior to that some Verbatim were actually CMC. I use Nero Disc speed to check what discs actually are. I
