RE: MXMPEG2 Error 0110: no media decoder found

@Steve-Summerlin Steve, I think you've been gotcha'd by the "new" AV1 codec (the "MXMPEG2" in that message is a bit misleading). IIRC, MMS2023 unfortunately doesn't support AV1, but MMS 2024, 2025 and I assume VDL 2026 do support import and export

@Can-Dive Hi. I'm using version 1 but I think improvements may be minimal in Vs 2 going by the examples given on their website here. Look at the slow-mo of the family on the beach. Pay particular attention to the arms of each person and the gaps

@CubeAce Thanks, I have VPX14, I bought it for the first time just as a test, I won't be upgrading it. AV1 sounded interesting & may be a future format but never mind, at the mo it doesn't work on my other editors so I'm happy with the formats

@johnebaker Hi John. The moon is reflected sunlight and astronomically speaking relatively close to earth so similar exposures can be used as when filming in daylight. The video is also suffering thermal shimmer but nice zoom capabilities 😅👍. Hand
