Tutorial - Split screen effect using a mask
This tutorial shows how to create a split screen using a 50/50 mask for 2 videos, one in the left half and one in the right half of the screen, each full height of the screen. Of course part of each image or video will be lost because the proportions of half of the screen is not the same as the original image or video. However, this method with a mask allows you to zoom in on the videos and

MEP Split screen effect using Section, Size/Position
This tutorial shows how to create a split screen effect with 2 videos, one on the left, one on the right, with each the full height of the screen. Of course, some of the video image will be lost because the window size for each video does not have the same proportions as the original video clip. You can zoom in on the video clip using Effect - Section and then position the section on the screen

RE: Creating a Fancy Title Intro using Magix Movie Edit Pro
@Vitaly Hi, There are 2 different ways of using masks in MEP. The first way, and what you are referring to is done by masking an effect on a single video or photo. See the tutorial indicated below, particularly from 8:30 onwards. You either create or load a mask using the dropdown arrow of an effect, Create effect mask or Load effects mask. This puts the effect onto the track below the video and

RE: MEP Split screen effect using Section, Size/Position
Hi Matt, This method uses section and zoom under Size/Position. I could not find a way to use Camera/Zoom and maintain the split screen properly. Camera/zoom is a movement effect that moves the frame, creating the impression of camera movement or zoom. It overrides the split screen part. Remember that the top image, that is the one sitting on top (track 2)  is the one that shows up first.

RE: 3D Video Editing in MEP17plusHD
My LG passive 3D TV plays video files in 3D directly from my Fuji cameras or my Sony HDR-TD10 or DXG 3-D camcorders via an HDMI cable.  It also plays Time Warner On Demand selections as well as commercial 3D BluRays automatically (that is, with no manual format selection on the TV's remote).  However, I have not been successful with burning a BluRay from my cameras, playing the BluRay in my 3D

RE: 3D Video Editing in MEP17plusHD
Hi SMcQ,   I tried the free trial version first and I specifically wanted the programme for 3d editing, so the free trial will enable you to do that. Also while I think of it, if you do buy it, there is an option in the help tab to download extras, which include all the titling, design features and many other things that will otherwise be missing. It's a big download, but well worth
