Ja, auch ich hatte sofort Daddy Langbein im Kopf !
Das hast Du sooo klasse gemacht, ich seh' sie auf einer kleinen Bühne
einer Hotelbar stehen . . . kaum noch jemand anwesend . . . Qualm . . . 
im Takt nicken . . . und einsam auf der kleinen Tanzfläche "Daddy Langbein" . . .

Es öffnet sich das Archiv der Erinnerungen an einen Jazz-Club in New York
und besonders . . . ähäm . . . an den Saxophonisten 'Ramon Morris' uuhiii . . .

 Diese Art von Jazz genieße ich sehr gerne.
Wenn Du es nicht erwähnt hättest, würde ich nicht glauben das es sich um Samplearbeit handelt.

Den hast Du fein gemacht. Das meine ich auch so, richtig fein und detailliert schmiegt es sich in meinen Gehörgang. Da fühle ich noch einen Whiskeygeschmack unter der Zunge und Zigarrenduft liegt in der Luft.

Nun, wie Du weisst, vergebe ich keine *dingsda mehr aber von mir bekommst Du ehrlich ein "EXCELLENT" vom Herzsche, gelle!
Die Samples verloren? Ich denke wohl eher, Du hast die Notenblätter verlegt und das ist jetzt ein Kompliment!

das Cover beschreibt die Mucke doch aufs Trefflichste. Ein verschmitzt, lauschendes Schmunzeln. Genauso schaue höre ich gerade zu. Was man allerdings nicht sieht, ist das mitwippen der unteren Extremitäten....

Diese wechselnde Instrumentierung machen es abwechslungsreich und sehr kurzweilig.

Gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut, inkl. des Mix und Masterings...

...alle achtung...für "geschobenen" (swing-)jazz ist das nicht von schlechten eltern...hast alle jazz-elemente gut untergebracht...auch der kontrabass kommt sehr schön...bisschen "blech" würde dem ganzen sicher noch etwas mehr spannung verleihen, aber es ist dir auch so schon sehr gut gelungen...mit den fingern schnipps schnipps...
