    RE: Hardware Rendering
@Carl-Johansson Based on those 3950x numbers, Carl, I'd still get a dedicated GPU. I realise my system in Intel but my CPU (i7-13700K) isn't much faster than the 3950x. I think my export times, using CPU only, are similar... slow! Approx 3x play

    RE: cannot burn dvd+R
I recall DVD-R was more reliable to burn successfully in consumer DVD burners. Try winding the burn speed right back to 4x. You could also try "burning" to the image recorder/ISO and then using IMGBurn to burn the ISO. This might also be of interest

RE: mouse won't click properly in sf 18 waveform
since double-clicking doesn't work in 18 It does work.. sort of.. you just have to double-click really really fast. As I recall, this annoying issue started with SF-16 and was never addressed and adjusting the click speed in the OS settings does not

    RE: DVDs cut don't play
Does this ring true to you fellas?Have we been barking up the wrong tree? Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation sold Verbatim to CMC in 2020. Even prior to that some Verbatim were actually CMC. I use Nero Disc speed to check what discs actually are. I

RE: Repeated glitch in burned disc
I have burned many other projects of this size and length on 8.5gb blanks with no problems. As I said, even though the program burn said ":successfully completed" on playback the disc would freeze or pause at a certain point when played on more than

Thanks so much, John, for your excellent help, again! Yes, I meant to type blu-ray, it might have auto “corrected” me, I do know the difference.I’m wondering if burning to the previous DVD-R with the higher speed was causing the problem or maybe it

RE: Play head disappearing in SF18 Pro
Hi @Paul-Fegan , do you have 'Scroll Playback' (F6) enabled and 'Seek cursor on playback' (F) in the 'Options' menu enabled? That can cause the cursor to move off-screen. Also try selecting 'Edit> Center cursor' (\ or .) when it disappears. If

Thanks for that info. I'll have to see if that WMV file can be re-compiled back to an .mp4 clip at 100 fps with AVC or HEVC codec with a different video editor without much loss of detail of a 4K video. But I have to wonder why VPX is not setup to
