    I tried enhancing some old VHS recordings before, and AI tools can definitely help sharpen details and reduce noise, even if they can’t fully restore the original miniDV quality. It’s worth testing on a short clip first before processing everything.

    @David-Rees Magix support was usually good until they were sold to new owners at the beginning of 2025. In summer 2025 they introduced their AI bot customer support and over the last three months they basically stopped answering support tickets.

    @Mark_Stevenson Doesn't the first automated response give you simply an AI chatbot response and tells you that you should respond again to get in contact with human support staff? Doing nothing will lead to a closed ticket, like you experienced.
