RE: Voice Clone & Text to Voice
@Iris-Willis Hi Voice cloning is not a feature that is present in the Text to Speech function, nor can you add your voice to the options available, which are provided by an external 3rd party add-on. If you are wanting to provide narration for your

@John EB John - I had missed the advance tab option for Ducking - had been doing each section manually. Thank you.

@spuddy13 Hi Brian, A few things: i also usually have video and audio on same track so its ticked unless i am adding music from another source and want to separate the audio and video on source I strongly suggest that you turn on video and audio on

RE: Movie Studio - Audio and Music Editor 3
@Tony-Haack Hi Tony, Watch this: Unless you are very good at doing narration and the location of the recording when you do it is perfect and nothing will be moved afterwards, do not use the Ducking feature shown by John EB under the Advanced button

Thank you, John - the tasks you have set me are in progress - not fully nailed, but underway. Earlier you mentioned "Ducking". Is this feature in Magix Studio 2023? If so, where?

RE: Editing audio on the timeline
@emmrecs @Tony-Haack 👍👍👍 Except for the auto ducking. I think that should be done afterwards by first recording the voice-over without it. Edit and arrange the voice-over track as you need within MMS so it is in sync with the visuals and then export

RE: Movie Studio - Audio and Music Editor 3
@Tony-Haack, @CubeAce Hi . . . . To do 'Auto Ducking' you need a side chain compressor which MMS or VPX does not have. . . . The Auto ducking @browj2 mentioned, is in the recording options for the Audio recording option in MMS under the advanced

RE: MAGIX Video deluxe 2026 Premium - My first voice over is the pits
@spuddy13 Hi Brian, Further thoughts as I think of them, and getting them down before I forget. At my age... I didn't mention: Using the Audio effects, General under Effects in VDL for the volume curve and for AUX1 and AUX2 for sending audio of an

@Tony-Haack Hi Tony. I see John CB has not replied to this yet. To get some-ones attention you need to select them by pressing @ on your keyboard and selecting them from the list that appears so you get the @browj2 which then sends them an email. To

@FF22 While it's not impossible that you have found a bug, based on your other topic and this, in all probability the audio is getting messed up by user input. For example, the green volume curve can only be activated by you. You really need to go

@emmrecs @browj2 Jeff, I was talking about audio. So are you saying the audio level must be zero at the butt join? In that case, John's ALT key makes it easier (but it's still a pain; if this is a serious issue, the program should have an option to

@dirk-saeys Hi . . . . it is 1 big mp3 . . . . The shift for the demped sections remains for the next audio objects. . . . . The volume curve, being attached to the big mp3 audio object, cannot move when other independent objects ie the images and

RE: Editing audio on the timeline
@johnebaker So, if I cut a voice over into several parts, I can join them altogether again in Magix Studio? Alternatively, and ideally, I should be able to achieve this by using the correct shortcuts. I have tried using the ones in the manual and

I don't know much about audio so I'll leave it up to you, Vegas shows two channels, I guess it's being deceived somehow & in Sound Forge the sound is there but really quite & i think distorted like a quiet croaky duck

@AAProds Hi Al. for audio ducking, aren't you better off just using the volume curve as opposed other the track curve? For a start, you only have to click once to set a node in volume curve mode. It depends on what you want to do and how you
