RE: VPX12 New Version now out - New Features - Old bugs?
@CubeAce Hi Ray, I'm glad that you have it sorted out. Remember, the mixdown is just to get a wave file on the timeline. If you already have an audio file (wav, ogg) then no mixdown is required and you can proceed directly to the external

Can't Record Input Audio and Listen to Output Simultaneously
I'm really sorry in advance. I fear this is a super simple issue, but I'm really new to this. I've been trying to follow tutorials to allow me to record my voice through my Blue Snowball mic. I've downloaded the ASIO4ALL driver, and followed the

    RE: M4A files
Hi @browj2, thanks for checking. What I have been doing since MM 2014 is recording on Win Voice recorder and moving the files, Wave, Mp3..., to MM, to create whatever I need. I will find another recorder, I understand Windows update may have updated

RE: Free Boris BCC Title Studio (OFX) & More music, Audio Effects for VPX
@CubeAce Hi Ray, Glad you've found it useful. I haven't had or taken the time to go much further. I've been spending more time with BluffTitler. Yesterday, I got around to gathering up the audio files that came with the package and putting them in

RE: Why is it difficult to just record my voice on a track?
You can turn off looping with the blue button in the bottom left. This makes MMM ignore the yellow bar and just keep going. However, you do still have to stretch any instrumental you're recording over a long distance so you won't be recording over

Why is it difficult to just record my voice on a track?
Why can't I just press record and record my voice? Why do I have to know how long (how many bars) my recording will be before recording? I may not know how long I want to record and it may be a long time. Sounds like there is a better way than

RE: Copy and past one audio channel to two?
@rraud Thanks for your response, I was able to convert the left-channel-only audio to mono. To clarify, I always record (field footage) onto SD cards. One mic (lav or shotgun) is plugged into the camera (lav) and the other (shotgun) is plugged into

RE: Copy and past one audio channel to two?
@rraud Thanks for this. I agree with you that editing a mono signal is easier, I just need to figure out how to make the device record as mono and and not stereo when using a mono (shotgun) mic. My work flow is as follows, when recording interview

RE: How to I do a voiceover
@GABRIEL-CWB the guy who hired me said it´s easy to do this in Audition I would have to agree! But Audition is an altogether much more complex piece of software than SF Pro. And, just in case you aren't aware, it is subscription only! Jeff Well,

RE: Saving to .mp3 format in Sound Forge Audio Studio 13
A multi-track app is better for mixing together different sources, music and dialog for instance. SF is a multi-channel editor and not all that good for this. There are some work-arounds though. In SF you could lay the music down and use the 'Mix'
