  VU meter when recording
  I have been using Sound Forge 10 for many years but have just upgraded to 17. Not sure it's an improvement. My question is: in Sound Forge 17 how do you get the VU meter to work when recording. It works when playing back but not recording. Thank you!

  @bzan Ok, well, Window changed a lot since Sound Forge 7 came out. Have you installed it under the Program Files directory? This directory has much tighter security nowadays. Maybe the registration doesn't work because something gets blocked.

  Software is glitching.
  I have SOUND FORGE Pro Version 11 (Build 299). Recently I am encountering glitches which make it difficult to impossible to edit my music. Fade-outs don't work. Sound stops entirely (even though I can see the graphic displayed on my monitor still).
