  @terrypin Hi Terry Thanks for the mask, for some reason I dropped in the 'wrong' folder, applied it via a Load effects mask for an effect and it worked ??? The masks must be located in the following folder: MEP 2016 - C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Movie Edit

  Automatic chroma key setting tip: no longer works?
  While making a couple of masks this morning I noticed that the old trick of including the appropriate chroma key string such as 'alpha' or 'green' etc in the file name no longer automatically assigns that setting in MEPP 2016 or 2017. For example,

  @johnebaker The oval was drawn with Xara, but the effect is a transition using Pixelan SpiceMaster 2 (not 3). Note the curve to get the effect smoother. The curve can be adjusted to make it even smoother. I found that the curve in Magix Alpha Magic

    Isn't an overlay a mix of two tracks? Magix calls Chroma Key a mix effect. Peter Chroma Keying is a compositing effect. Like blending tracks on the NLE timeline. Not the same thing. If you put two video tracks one above the other, what happens?
