I think it's a great name for whatever age - still very cool! Sounds like you're a museo like me, (and I too have too many years under my belt now), I use mine for my You Tube Channel where I publish Christian songs that I have written. I'm using

RE: igdrclneo64.dll error on installlation
@Reid-Fox If MEP installs once the graphics card is disabled then you will know and actually see how fast MEP will render a project. The graphics card plays little part in how fast MEP renders but can help on getting smooth playback when editing.

RE: Audio problem with playback of old .avi files
@Scenestealer Hi Peter. I agree. Even if the machines were still in operation the tapes (Even BASF Pro 50) would now be losing ferite oxide as the glue degenerates. You can 'bake' a tape once and provided it was stored correctly played once to

RE: Windows 10 Issues & Unable to open WAV's
Thanks. I had just about come to that conclusion as well. I'm glad we didn't purchase the SFPro. We are a non-profit so our budget is pretty small. Our older Cool Edit Pro still hanging in there. The longer we can go without purchasing the Audition

RE: Windows 10 Issues & Unable to open WAV's
As @johnebaker stated, it is not a PCM WAVE file. It is a compressed (lossy) format with a <.wav> extension. Apparently SF (and Vegas) does not have this codec, so you may very well have to go back to Cool Edit (Adobe renamed it "Audition"

RE: Windows 10 Issues & Unable to open WAV's
Thank you for the info. I am going to forward this on to our tech committee, and see if they have any suggestions. Otherwise, it sounds like we may have to go back to Cool Edit. Thanks again. CS.

RE: Intel HD vs Iris
@MiCas Hi I have to agree 100% with @CubeAce comment 'NUCs by nature are small and cooling' From experience of using similar devices eg Brix, they are not powerful enough for serious video editing for the reasons I gave previously. As Ray has said

RE: Intel HD vs Iris
@MiCas Can I ask the complete specs you intend for your completed NUC? While I agree with 99% of what John has said the one advantage I feel of having more cores is the ability to keep the processor operating temperature lower with less demand

that's cool. I've purchased a lot of Mixed in Key products, including the DJ version. I wasn't aware of the studio version. I'll definitely have to check that out. Thanks!

That isnt working for me. It allows me to shrink one track if i grab the bar and pull it up, but if i try to do that with a second track, the one i already adjusted just goes back to the big size. I found that window you showed me, but changing the

@CubeAce Hi Ray, BluffTitler can use almost any font. Whatever is in your Windows Fonts should be accessible. However, what you can do with text, photos, video clips and effects is simply amazing. For accuracy in lining things up, do you use snap

Sound Forge 12 Is a Buggy Mess
I've already posted about what a PAIN it's been for 18 years, when storing mp3 files, to click custom and then have to click the ID3 tab instead of it being the first thing I see: literally 1000s and 1000s of times. But now I'm doing a batch of 900

@browj2 Hi John . . . . I have found that opening up the computer case once a year and vacuuming and blowing out the dust improved performance . . . . That is good practice and no you are not imagining that the performance is better - the heatsinks

RE: Need help with new computer specs
@Schmacker As far as I can tell the amount of processors seem to be the main deciding factor on export speed unless you are using effects as well or using hardware encoding H264 or HEVC where the graphics card if you have one seems to help with HEVC
