Welcome to the Magix Sound Forge user forum @hinsley. The maximum bitrate for the MP3 audio codec is 320kbs. Constant bit rate (CBR) is best for web streaming. The AAC codec (.mp4 / .m4a) is another format to consider. It is lossy like MP3 but

@johnebaker Hi John. That's interesting. If I'm doing cross fades they tend to be between 3 to 5 frames long but specialist fades are longer than 12 frames. Sometimes because of where frames land I do find it better to do longer cross fades. I'm not

@ole1 I can confirm that MM2021 Premium does support both VST 2 and VST 3, 64 bit as previously advised. So is your question really, how do you make MM "see" any installed VSTs? 64 bit VST 3s will install, by default, to C:\Program Files\Common

are you telling AP10 where to look for the VSTs, it won't find them on it's own. You must point the 'Plug-in Manager' to where your VST & VSTI's are.

VST processes are not exposed in a useful manner since SF11
I'm still using SF10 as it is the last version to support 'process selection' from the VST plug-in dialog. I downloaded the trial version of SF14 hoping that the "Instant Action" UI would address this. But no, unless I am missing something, the six

After a lot more investigation the culprit has been found (at least I think so 😉) The short of it is, a 32bit VST plug in (Lexicon Native Reverb). I reinstalled the AP10 beta and tested it on a number of projects. If the Lexicon plugin is in use in
