    RE: Updating Sound Forge
Hi Jeff 🙂 Thank you for your swift reply 👍 It definitely was the V12 installer, but I have since found out that V12.1 is the latest stable build for my version of Pro. I think the V12.6 version I was seeing was in fact for the "Audio"

    Updating Sound Forge
Hi Peeps, Is it possible to simply update an existing Sound Forge install to the latest version? I currently have Sound Forge Pro Version 12.1 (Build 170) 64-bit I believe that the latest version is 12.6, is that correct? I have been to the

Hi Magix Community, First time post here, so hopefully I'm not breaking any guidelines at all... In ACID Pro 8 I was limited to 64bit VSTs, and (wrongly) assumed Sine Player from Orchestral Tools wasn't loading perhaps because it might be a 32bit

    @me_again Hi Andy . . . . ORIC - who remembers that one . . . . Ah the good old days - we just called it Tangerine was a pretty good machine. . . . . This - Magix's Photos on CD & DVD deluxe 2.0 from 2002 . . . . 😱, - never thought you were

    RE: MXV viewer
@me_again Hi Andy AFAICS, having scanned my PC, there is no independant mxv viewer with version MEP 2015 onwards or in Music Maker, there are mxv viewer dll's however you cannot run these on there own. John EB

@me_again Hi Andy. No, I renewed my subscription a few weeks ago and have the latest version of MEP Premium running with the New Blue Titler 6 package. The offered additional packages changed last week, so I don't have those but MEP is the current

@me_again Hi Andy, In your account under MEP, the upper part should show the "Serial Number," "Valid until," and then "Update Service." What does your Update Service show as the date? You can have 2 computers activated at once. They will show up

@me_again Hi Andy. I went to my account and mine also shows last activated as today so I think it just means the last time you used the program. I think it's part of the security process of not having more than two instances running or perhaps

@ Hi Andy. It's not unusual to get those emails early. That MEP re-activated itself is a bit of a mystery to me though unless it means the last time it was used? Ray.

@me_again Hi Andy . . . . It is the renaming that MEP has started to do - in my example above both titles have gained an additional name of ******.MVD which is a Magix extension not used for some time. . . . .It's just strange that the extra

@me_again Hi Andy. I probably didn't explain better. MEP closes but hangs around in the background and for whatever reason, if I've exported to my D: drive, and only my D: drive, that drive is just not accessible to either view or work on. Other

@me_again @johnebaker Hi Andy. First. Yes, project files are MVP files not MVD . As far as exporting, I've never batch processed so can't say with certainty but for normal exporting the file will have the same name as the project name unless it is

@me_again Hi Andy The displayed names are indicating the source of the files to be converted in your case these are the 2 timelines of the project ie the project and movie names as you have chosen the Multiple movies option of the Batch conversion

@me_again Hi Andy. You don't say whether the files were being exported to an SSD or mechanical hard drive. Since the last Windows update I've noticed writing to SSDs seems to make MEP hang on a bit longer. No idea why but doesn't effect writing to a

@me_again Hi Andy Like @CubeAce I have seen this occasionally and as far as I can tell it looks like it is the Store doing some housekeeping. Normally, as you have seen, it takes a few minutes, however sometimes it is much longer, particulalry if

RE: Strange temporary behaviour (I hope)
@me_again Hi Andy. It's not unusual for a program to do a bit of housekeeping before it shuts down entirely. Interrupting that process by a forced shutdown using task manager can prolong the shutdown period at a later stage or lose information it

@me_again, Andy, I did achieve an export with that weird resolution, but it required the technique I described above. As I mentioned above, one can export at whatever resolution one likes, but if it doesn't exactly match the movie settings
