  Thanks John. Pretty much confirming that the slow loading at startup is the plug ins as the "FX Plug ins" menu at top doesn't display until its completed loading (2 minutes). Yuck. Guess might have to continue to use V15 until they patch 16 to load

  The latest patch on SF Pro 16 (version 16.1.x) causes many (not all) VST plugins to not function (typically resulting in a crash of SF). I reverted to SF Pro 15 for the time-being, but I expect Magix to fix this show-stopper of a problem with SF Pro

  @fred-slocombe Hi Fred, Did you update to the latest patch - 22.0.3.165? I have had similar temporary freezups over the last week or so but with VPX14 and with Sound Forge ACL3 and Samplitude Pro X3 being used as External Audio Editors. I'm on W10.

  I didn't think of that. If it is a bug specific to the AMD hardware acceleration: I tried disabling the hardware acceleration, but it is slooowww. Not even practical to test. For now, the best solution seems to be to simply use MP4/AVC exports
