@Pensioner Hi Can you check the Camera setting in Settings, Privacy, Camera, Allow apps to access your camera is on and the same for Microphone. An update may have turned them off. John EB

Cannot get video and sound to show in "rescue your video tapes".

@brian-hill Does it help if you deactive Internal Microphone Array and Stereo Mix in your Windows Sound settings? A right click should show you the option to deactivate them. You can reactivate them later if this doesn't help.
