    RE: Program Crashing
Thanks again for the quick response. The audio chipset is Realtek HDA. A few things cause it to crash. It will sometimes crash after recording an audio track using a Blue Yeti microphone, but typically it happens after adding a midi track on top of

Cannot get video and sound to show in "rescue your video tapes".
I cannot get any video or sound to be imported into RYVT after extensive testing, all I get is a blue screen and silence. I have tried to import in a number of ways, by svhs and composite signals from a Panasonic NV-HS930, the recorder apparently

@karen-williams This is just a misunderstandig. The example song project you opened is called "Demo Chart Hits". If your sound doesn't work you can try and open the program settings (click on the small gears icon next to "File") and go to the

    RE: Record audio & playback
@Snuke You can press shift+r to open the recording options. Maybe you need to select your microphone there. Another option is to use the ASIO4All driver instead of Magix Low Lantency. They are both more or less identical but ASIO4All seems to have a

RE: Some Confusion over the Microphone
@brian-hill Your microphone probably records in mono. This is only one channel and because of that you only hear it on one ear. There is nothing wrong with that. In the shift+r record settings you need to activate the Mono option. Then you should

@SP. Nope, just disabled them and nothing changed. In the Program Settings, I just changed the ASIO driver to the ASIO4ALL v2, and then in the Advanced settings, I selected my Microphone. I was able to get a recording, but it wouldn't play back any

@brian-hill Does it help if you deactive Internal Microphone Array and Stereo Mix in your Windows Sound settings? A right click should show you the option to deactivate them. You can reactivate them later if this doesn't help.
