RE: Mouse Settings
@Roger-Hall, @CubeAce Hi You only need to hover the mouse cursor over the side bar indicated, the mouse scroll wheel will then have focus on the up/down slider, this also works for the horizontal slider at the bottom of the timeline and the zoom +

RE: Is there a way to display a realtime graphic frequency band display
@Scenestealer Hi Peter I have the Melda Productions frequency analyser - MAnalyzer, and a quick search for 'Frequency Analyser VST found several others, the Voxengo SPAN - has a better interface than the MAnalyzer. To use - open the mixer add the

RE: Turning a mono track into a stereo track
I hit the wall again. I split the object into two tracks, which deleted the original track. What had been one track is now two. The first of the two now comes out of the two monitors, which is good. It doesn't display anything visually, though,

RE: Simple and accurate method of syncing two camera angles visually
@Scenestealer Hi Peter. Sounds a reasonable solution but would personally cause me problems. In the timeline use the frame counter to see how many frames you have moved the clip. How easy it is to move a clip one frame at a given timeline viewing

RE: Turning a mono track into a stereo track
@Chuffey Hi Try this: Do you have this option if you right click the audio object? If so ensure the audio object is on a track of its own and you have the wave form displaying, then apply the effect, the audio object will split into 2 tracks,

RE: Automation clips and the ability to change the bpm mid song?
@AqauNotAqua Hi . . . . . it would be cool to have automation clips like in FL studio . . . . Have you looked up Automation in the PDF manual available under Help. Also see these tutorials: Mixer FX channels Linking Mixer controls - although this

RE: Video & audio recording (Version 20.0.1.65) Premium version
@Cal Just remembered that I wanted to comment on this. Busy week. There is a misconception by many people as to how recording using a video editor actually works. As far as I know, no video editor or even a DAW, records into itself, directly onto

RE: Video & audio recording (Version 20.0.1.65) Premium version
Thanks for the help Ray, I have a couple of ideas that might possibly work using some other software I have that works with my L12 mixer. Hopefully it will take a video feed, tomorrow is another day. Cheers, Cal

RE: Video & audio recording (Version 20.0.1.65) Premium version
Thanks Ray, I'm using a Zoom Q2n-4K camera for video via USB and an ART USB mixer with an ART C3 condenser mic that we use for ZOOM online music sessions. It all works well together. What I wanted to do was to record both video and audio directly

RE: Sound Forge - using Parallels
I haven't taken the plunge on Parallels. It feels like defeat. I've been exploring all of the options though to figure out how to keep Sound Forge in my life (even after being furious for months over the Mac situation). I have all these associated

RE: No preview display and very sluggish after latest update
Another issue with this update is this: I can import video now and it works normally, but after adding a few effects or splitting, trimming, moving, etc. The audio playback starts to crackle.Saving, closing the program and re-opening, fixes it. But

RE: Mixer not showing in Samplitude Pro X
After you clicked on the mixer icon try holding the Windows-Key and press the arrow keys on your keyboard. This places the window on the left out right side of the screen and minimizes and maximizes it. Maybe it is hidden or outside the screen like

RE: Adding text where I want it on the timeline
@CubeAce Hi Ray, I test out Samplitude Pro X3 for volume automation using the mixer. I hear the volume changes instantly. Big difference from VPX. Magix should do some work on the audio part to fix up that latency at the very least - and add VST

RE: Adding text where I want it on the timeline
@browj2 Hi John. Sorry I missed your previous comments. Vst is based around midi. All those plug-ins are vsts. Moving a slider or circular knob is a midi command. Any vst effect, mixer element, or instrument can be controlled by an external midi

RE: Adding text where I want it on the timeline
@CubeAce Hi Ray, Was that your answer to what you meant by "control automation ... on effects controls?" MEP does not do MIDI, thus no MIDI controls. VPX has MIDI Time Control only, but that is for linking to Samplitude using LoopBe1 to be able to

RE: Adding text where I want it on the timeline
@browj2 Hi John. It certainly isn't normal to suffer lag between a MIDI command and the response from the audio. You can achieve latency of zero when set up properly or how do you record midi instruments real-time with any degree of accuracy when

RE: Adding text where I want it on the timeline
I tried the "ducking" feature a couple times, but wasn't happy with the way it sounded - a little too mechanical - but maybe a little more tweaking would have helped. For some reason, I get intimidated using a USB mic in front of my project (lol). I

RE: Adding text where I want it on the timeline
@hdrechsel18 Hi. Mixing audio in MEP is the most frustrating part for me. I would prefer to use the controls in the mixer and automate from there but the lag between control movement and hearing the alteration is way too slow to be accurate.

RE: Adding text where I want it on the timeline
@hdrechsel18 Honestly, I never use volume automation with the Mixer; I just show people that it exists and how to do it. I do use object volume curves a lot because if I have to move the object, the volume curve comes with it. I was always putting

RE: Adding text where I want it on the timeline
@hdrechsel18 Hi. Whereas I just colour code my tracks for each type plus add a track name. You can group them later by adding adjacent tracks and moving them up or down. Putting all the audio together for instance makes using the mixer easier with

How to copy audio tape to mp3 via Kaiser Baas Vinyl Converter
I have a very old Kaiser Baas Vinyl Converter. (Model either N1879 or maybe B130804 or maybe KBA03024 - that's the best I can make out from the very faded label on the back of the actual converter box for the in/out leads). This can be used for
