RE: SFPro continually crashes - versions 14-18
@SteveMTNO I would update the Realtek High Definition Audio, Realtek ASIO Component, Realtek Audio Effects Component, Realtek Audio Universal Service, Realtek Hardware Support Application and Nvidia High Definition Audio. And then I would test

RE: How can I compare the various video products?
@Walter-Nezwisky There's only 2, Video deluxe & Video Pro X, 3 products if you include Vegas Pro. All have a Trial version that you can download from the Magix website & test for 30 days. Each have different 'package' options such as

RE: Should I choose Video Pro X or Vegas Pro?
@ghijohansson I'm pretty sure both programs will be able to read you video file. I suspect even Magix Movie Studio can do it. I could be wrong but if you want a quick definitive answer, just upload a 5 sec clip and we can test it for you. The video

RE: Magix music maker on linux mint
@stephen-kelly6215 An interesting experiment. There is one issue you may have, and testing will show, is latency, the Windows fix would be direct ASIO access to the sound card/device. AFAIK, no 'Linux' distribution supports ASIO natively, this

RE: Error while writing noise sample file! - Audio Cleaning Lab 4
@jamesglynn As mentioned above, you need to install the 32 Bit version. Besides that, the 64 Bit version still works. It just has this annoying error message. I tested it myself some time ago. You can usually click it away.

@AAProds Thanks for testing. I confirm. There is no problem with the SPR effect. Try it with the affects you don't need to "Apply" such as brightness/Contrast or Colour. This issue may be isolated to these effects.

@Paul-Fegan I tested it in SF 18 and you are correct. This is a bug in newer SF versions. Please change the EffectOptions at the end of line 37 from file.DoEffect("Volume", "Reduce Volume -8 dB", new SfAudioSelection(wnd.Selection.ccStart,

RE: VDL 2026 Crashing on Analogue Recording Stop
@AAProds Three questions: Is the crash random or consistent? If you hit stop on the camcorder/VCR rather than the program - does the system crash? Do you have access to another USB digitizer to test?

Hi John, once again you, along with others, have managed to get to the bottom of something for me regarding Magix! I do have Intel UHD 770 and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070. I updated Nvidia as suggested and no change, I then went to Intel's site, got it

RE: The output formats are messed up in Movie Studio 2024
I did the calculations as (24000/1001 - 23.976)x3600 and got 0.086 frames difference, so it is strange that either frame rate would make a difference. since there are 60 s/min and 60 min/hr there are 2300 s/hr. 24000/1000=23.976 so subtracting it

@Betovalle @AAProds @johnebaker @Gid @ericlnz  This was a great exercise in exploring how VPX handles keyframes. And we could continue to debate whether this is a bug or a feature. Perhaps, as I suggested in my previous post, the system

No. It just means I know where the issue is coming from. Still do not know why. It only happens with Magix. No problems with gaming or other programs. Ran 3DMark stress test without issue.
