  I do not think the trial version allows saving files of any type, or maybe just very short length file renders like the Vegas demo. The Fraunhofer MP3 codec is licensed, so MP3s are not supported with the trial version.

  'Beeps' usually indicate a plug-in is in a demo mode and needs to be authorized, if you can you 'record what you hear' and post it, it may be helpful determining it is a demo mode issue. btw @Stephen-Levine, welcome to the SF forum
