@M-Cox Hi . . . . what I can't understand is why files like the one above load into MEP 17 Plus . . . . Does the above file load in to MEP 17? I suspect it will not as from the MediaInfo analysis Format                                   :

    RE: Problem importing .mov file
@M-Cox Hi and welcome to the forum MOV file format is a container format not a video format - without knowing what the internal video format (codec) is we would be guessing. Analyse the clip that will not import with MediaInfo and post the results

    Problem importing .mov file
I have just installed MEP 2020 and when I try loading in a MOV I get the error message that the file format cannot be read. I still have MEP 17 Plus installed on the same machine. I can load MOV files into that with no problem, save the project and

@nie-podaje this is .mov hevc, when it will be supported? I have no idea when it will be supported in Fastcut but my suspicion is "never". HEVC, it seems to me, almost presupposes that the user is working to at least a semi-professional standard if

...If I use MMEP I never use it for color grading, the grading in the program is not the greatest, they do have some movie looks but they are not that great either most of them are not good at all, you can't adjust them once applied as well. It

RE: Exactly what kind of .mkv matroska file will Movie Edit Pro Plus MX handle?
Magix has always been a problem when it comes to mkv's and it seems Magix does not make it a priority in or care about fixing the problem since its been years. As an editor I do get a fair share of mkv's because it does a better job at compressing a

@jaap-k . . . . rendering a movie still takes 30 seconds for a 2 second movie. Is that normal? . . . . The 'long' export time is possible depending on the export resolution, preset and format you are exporting to. If you are exporting to MP4 h.264,
