[Solved] Playback is choppy in the editor but plays normal in a media player

For some sound files playback is very choppy only playing blips. Playing the same file in VLC media player has no issues. I noticed the files that this happens to the channel meter is going up to about -3dB and stops. It is like there is a ceiling
