RE: Wishlist for the next Music Maker!
Hi thereI would also like to see a option in the arranger where one can move, for example, a track from position 30 to position 10 without having to click "move track up" 20 times and without loosing any adjustments made in position 30.It has been

RE: VOLUME CURVE IN MEP
@VideoPro The default white line on an audio clip, allows you to raise or lower the volume of the entire clip from its original volume. If the passage is quiet, you can raise the volume. The 0 that you see is not the limit, it is just a knob like a

RE: VOLUME CURVE IN MEP
@VideoPro So the white line becomes the "ceiling" right? Green lines going above that line will not have any impact? The 'ceiling' is when you run out of bit bits in the bit depth selection of the audio recording which is always represented as 0db

RE: BIT RATE QUESTION
@VideoPro Does this mean if my project settings are set at 48kHz, upon final mix down the 44kHz audio file will be upgraded to 48kHz ? I would be inclined to use the word converted rather than use the word upgraded because there is no audio quality

RE: VOLUME CURVE IN MEP
Basically they compliment each other.... Your volume will only ever be a maximum of the one that is the lowest.IE, you first set the over all volume for the entire track - that is the maximum your volume can ever be. The you can use the volume curve

RE: VOLUME CURVE IN MEP
@VideoPro Neither takes precedence. The green volume "curve" allows you to change the volume at specific parts of a clip/object. You can lower the volume of a portion of an object and then take it back up after that portion. The white volume level

RE: VOLUME CURVE IN MEP
@VideoPro The white line is the overall volume adjustment of the file as presented to the volume slider in the mixer. The green line is the position of the volume slider. They work in conjunction with each other. If you were to cut the clip into

RE: VOLUME CURVE IN MEP
@AAProds @Former user Hi, I am trying to get the OP to do some homework and to formulate his questions better. For someone who claims to be a "VideoPro" I expect better. How did he get the green and white curves (actually lines)? He should tell us.

RE: VOLUME CURVE IN MEP
@VideoPro @Former user @browj2 Promidi has it. If you want to adjust the whole object, just drag the line up and down. If you want to make a small (timewise) volume adjustment without splitting into separate objects, get the volume curve up and then

RE: VOLUME CURVE IN MEP
@VideoPro For the sake of others, perhaps you can first explain how you got those curves. To understand what they do, how to use them and also the various ways to edit volume and many other things about audio, watch both of these tutorials: John CB

RE: VOLUME CURVE IN MEP
Which version?I believe the horizontal line affects the entire track. The volume curve, is just that. It's a curve in which keyframes can be added (mine defaults to a red volume curve)

VOLUME CURVE IN MEP
It seems like there is two places to edit volume, one is the green volume curve, and the 2nd is a horizontal line which can be moved up or down. Can anyone here explain what the best practice is for using these?

RE: Sound and volume problems
@Arkadiusz-Marzec Hi. Personally I don't think it is a bug as I can't replicate the problem. I played four copies of the same file in sync and apart from having to reduce the gain of each channel by -12db to compensate for the additional volume of

RE: BEST SETTINGS FOR LATENCY?
@CubeAce Hi Ray, My sound effects are always with the action. You have to put the sfx at the right place, listen, correct, listen correct. I use the waveform and listening along with visuals (what is showing) for editing, not automation. As I said,

RE: BEST SETTINGS FOR LATENCY?
@CubeAce Hi Ray, I think that this will confuse the OP. I would like to know what he thinks latency means. Normally, it is as I defined it, when recording, it is the lag between what you sing/play whilst recording and when you hear it in the

@Former user Hi, Note: The same thing happens on Video Pro X11 Do you mean that in VPX11 you don't get the Volume interface shown by Alwyn? I don't have VPX11 anymore, but it works in both VPX12 and 13 but sometimes the window pops up in strange

RE: Sound and volume problems
@CubeAce Ray, I read #1 as @Arkadiusz-Marzec is reducing the volume on the timeline, exporting it as WAV but that WAV volume isn't lower, it's the same as the original clip volume.
