  @ANDREA-GAROFALO It depends. This old program consisted of two different applications. Audio Studio became Samplitude Music Studio and MIDI Studio was bought by Apple and is now Logic Pro. Samplitude Music Studio can edit WAV and MP3 files fine.

  @Chad-Palmer I would suggest you reset the program settings. Open the Samplitude system settings and go to settings import and export and select the a preset from the drop down combobox. Export your settings before in case you want to go back if

  @Greg-Carlson You could also try to uninstall Samplitude with a free tool like Revo Uninstaller which also tries to remove all leftover Samplitude registry values. Maybe it will make a difference.
