  @john-l947 Hi, Music Maker is free; no serial number (Activation code) required. See Magix.com comparison table. If you want more things, like Soundpools, Features, Presets, etc., you need to purchase them piecemeal or get a Plus or Premium

  @kenny-turner Also, did you activate your 2016 version in the 2018 version? This should give you whatever you had with 2016, but there are some that you may have to download and install. You may want to upgrade to the 2020 version which is free.

  @mikebot It's free! See tutorial below on Getting Started in MusicMaker 2019. The interface was changed slightly in 2020, including some changes in a patch, but the principal is the same. You will likely have to Activate using any activation codes

  Hi Ron, In a nutshell: It's certainly possible to use third-party sample content to mimic the structure of a MAGIX soundpool to some degree, but it's probably not worth the effort. Most makers of loop/sample content in non-proprietary audio file
