Samplitude Music Studio 2023. The audio drivers in my music program are ASIO, Direct Sound and WASPI. MAGIX has taken over the Mic source and output source both with the Low Latency whatevers. I use a program called NotePerformer for audio output.

didn't they test this thing! Not on your specific PC @Jonathan-Lloyd2719 . Have you tried other WAVE files, and MP3s. The Low Latency 2016 driver issue happens right after a new install, but I recall it was more prevalent with Audio Studio 15..

@David-Roberts8669, if the behavior is happening globally, I would suspect the Magix Low Latency 2016 driver which is installed with Sound Forge Audio Studio. The driver is known to produce noise and other annoyances in other applications with audio

@puddin86 Older versions of Music Maker used the Magix Low Latency driver which will use the audio device of your computer exclusively. Then no other application can play sound. It could be that you have selected this driver in the program settings.
