  @Aitch Hi Good news. Personally I would stick to DVD-RW for first burn and testing once complete, copy (ImgBurn, Nero) DVD-RW to DVD-R, no need to burn again in MEP. I would not use DVD+R they do not appear to be as reliable as good quality

  @Aitch When testing, try a "burn to ISO"; during the burn setup, at step 1, choose "Image Recorder" from the dropdown. That will produce an ISO file (which is a disk image) which you can open in VLC Player and run through to see if the 42min glitch
